Hi Carlo,

Sorry for the late reply - I've been on holiday (in Italy!). A meal on 1/9/10 sounds good - count me in too.

John

Dear all,
More o less 1 month to the meeting!

I' ll try to manage the lunch for the 5 days and I hope to say something more for the end of this week. At the moment I still don't exactly know the number of people that attend the meeting (someone is still absent like Steve and French people I suppose!).
Anyhow I would try to organize a special Roman dinner in a typical Osteria Romana for Wednesday 1st of September, who stand-up the hand?
As soon possible I sand an email with the price and the menu chooses.

Please, I'm waiting your comments!

Cheers,

Carlo

Hi Carlo

Instance document are fine. BTW, you could also alter the XSLT on your service to make it GeoSciML 3.0
Do you need a TRAC account ?

Eric

Dear Eric,
I would participate to testbed 4 but I'm not sure to have enough time to set all!
Mainly I could produce instance documents for task on OneGeology-Europe (UC 1, 2, 3 and perhaps 19).

Cheers,

Carlo

Oggetto: [Auscope-geosciml] Testbed 4

Good {morning | day | evening | night}

Thanks to the good work of Ollie and François, we now have workable schemas for both gml 3.1 and gml 3.2. The time to get those schemas far exceeded all predictions due to several reasons (time availability, external schemas in flux, Fullmoon operation, network problems at NRCan, etc) so we essentially have 1 month before Rome F2F meeting.

This is not a lot of time to get a testbed, but fortunatly, unlike Testbed 3, we don't have a public demo planned (not that I know of anyway - please tell me if we do so we can go in full panic mode). Therefore I think the testbed will essentially be instance document. Some have service implementation commitments and will try to set a WFS service or alter the one they already have (BGS, GSV and GSC .. others ?)

Can I get a (virtual) show of hands of people who can work on either instance documents or real services and have something for Rome. I remind you that we have set up a Trac system with a list of tasks and people commitments at https://projects.arcs.org.au/trac/geosciml (I do realise that those commitment were made under different assumptions).

Cordialement
Eric
