Hi Eric



1.  I like aspects of your MappingProperties class, as it could be used inline for attributes that vary per MappedFeature (eg; we have geology map datasets with mappedFeatures with different positional accuracies and observation methods within the same map) or by reference for large numbers of MappedFeatures which have invariant methods and accuracies.



But would this flexibility detract from our interoperability?  Is that a trade-off you are willing to make?



2.  We have previously discussed the possibility of having a gsml:Map class (ie, a collection of MappedFeatures - I think Steve raised it?), but we never followed through with it.  I think resolutionScale and samplingFrame at least could apply to a single gsml:Map dataset rather than each MappedFeature.  Do you have a use case for a gsml:map class?

While creating instance document, I realised that most of MappedFeature properties are highly redundant by design, because they all come from the same map.  Wouldn't it be more efficient to tear those properties apart so they can be references in block.
