Dear all,

I have just placed the latest GeoSciML v3 release candidate schemas on the subversion at https://www.seegrid.csiro.au/subversion/GeoSciML/tags/3.0.0_rc2/schemas

After much testing by myself and Francois, they appear to be all working OK.  Note that the schemas depend on GML3.2 and O&M v2.  The O&M v2 schemas imported by this GeoSciML v3 RC are pre-public-release and are located at https://www.seegrid.csiro.au/subversion/GeoSciML/ISO19156_xsd/schemas/.

In anticipation of the eventual publication of the GeoSciML schemas, the pathname for all of the GeoSciML schemas is http://schemas.geosciml.org<http://schemas.geosciml.org/> - if you are going to create instance docs for testing using these schemas, you will need to map the http://schemas.geosciml.org<http://schemas.geosciml.org/> path to your local repository.

I have had no trouble so far in creating stand-alone instance docs of GeoSciML v3.0 features and objects using these schemas.

However, I am unable to create a valid wfs:FeatureCollection instance document containing GeoSciML v3 features.  As far as I can tell:
1) the WFS v1.1.0 schema imports GML v3.1.1, which is the wrong GML version for GeoSciML v3, and
2) the WFS v2.0 schema doesn't import GML at all, so I can't make a WFS v2.0 FeatureCollection of GeoSciML features either.

I feel I must be overlooking something obvious here - how does WFS (either v1 or v2) work with GML v3.2 application schemas?
