ok, I answered my own question.
seems that "Get latest" at the root class did not what I expected it to do.

Steve,
I followed the instruction to get latest EA GeoSciml 4 model and all I get
is a collection of empty packaged.
Is this the intent (as a blank slate to start gsml 4 ?)
What I'd like to get is the model you did in Wellington when we tried to
reorganise GeoSciML for better modularity (so, a good old .eap would be fine
for me)
many thanks

Well, I think I got it figured out. There is now an xmi file at
https://www.seegrid.csiro.au/subversion/GeoSciML/branches/4.0.0/model/GeoSci
M4.0.xml
that works at least on my machine for setting up a version controlled EA
project for GeoSciML 4.0. Moving forward we should be able to use that for
development.

Id like to learn how to get the repository set up for a packaged model, and
am using GeoSciML4 repository to learn. Ive got the exernals set up for the
packages (following the instructions at
https://www.seegrid.csiro.au/wiki/CGIModel/GeoSciMLSVNLayout), but the last
step has me stumped
how to create the single EA project that I can export
as an XMI to make the package the is what you point at when setting up a new
version-controlled project that imports all the externaled packages.
* Model (SVN external)
* All (to hold a master UML that just contains stubs for all known
GeoSciML <https://www.seegrid.csiro.au/wiki/bin/view/CGIModel/GeoSciML>
modules)
* this would be the only document that a new user would load manually
This would be the version 4 equivalent of the XMI at
https://www.seegrid.csiro.au/subversion/GeoSciML/tags/3.0.0/model/geosciml.x
ml for version 3
<https://www.seegrid.csiro.au/subversion/GeoSciML/tags/3.0.0/model/geosciml.
xml%20for%20version%203> ...
Any hints?
Thanks
steve
